Wet N Wild Fergie Shimmer Palette in Rose Champagne Glow

Hey everyone today I have a post on the Wet N Wild Fergie Shimmer Palette in Rose Champagne Glow. I have always been a huge fan of Wet N Wild so I finally picked up this shimmer palette to try since it was super affordable. There are 3 different shades part of the permanent collection and this one was the one that really caught my eye the most.

A shimmer palette is a product that is supposed to give a light tint, or a bronze complexion on your skin. Since this was the lightest shade, this one gives a nice glow to your skin with the shimmery pearl finish. The way this product is made, it can be worn both wet and dry.

I found this to be a great highlighter for my skin tone. It is way too shimmery for me to wear as a blush, but it was perfect to highlight my face. The color when blended is a beautiful light beige color with a hint of pink. The texture was a little stiff when I stuck my finger in it, but worked well when applied used a brush. It did have really beautiful color pay off and I can't wait to start using this in my everyday face routine. The only negative thing I would have to say is that the packaging is pretty bulky. It is huge and does take up a lot of room in my collection, but I think its worth it.

You can purchase this product here for only $5.99, which a lot of times you can get the product 25% off or even 40% during the Walgreens sales.

LORAC Nude Skinny Palette Swatches & Review

Hey everyone I am so excited to be doing a review on this new Limited Edition palette by LORAC. It was released during the Nordstrom sale, which it sold out pretty quickly, but Zappos had it up on there site so I was able to snag it before it was sold out on there. When I see a $15 palette, I literally could not pass it up. And since it was a nude palette of course I just had to get it.

So this palette comes with 7 different colors and comes in a sleek tan packaging with reptile detail on it. The eyeshadows themselves did not come with names. I love the sleek packaging because it doesn't take up a lot of space so it makes it perfect for traveling.

Going from right to left with have a nice matte cream color, then we have a shimmery golden brown which I am in love with. Next to that we have a matte copper brown shade and a dark brown that is matte as well. Next to that is a beautiful shimmery copper color, then a dark shimmery green shade and lastly there is a matte dark dark brown, almost boarder line black.

All of the shades were very pigmented and have amazing texture to them. I love LORAC shadows because they have a great buttery texture and do not look chalky at all. In these photos I did not use primer, but with primer I could imagine these shades would pop even more. My favorite shades would have to be the matte shades.

Overall I am very impressed with this palette. For $15.00 you really can't beat the price. Sadly, it is sold out but I did look on Ebay and people are selling it for almost double the price. But to me $30 still isn't bad for a very beautiful palette. I know I will be using this palette a lot in the fall time because the copper colors are just amazing.

E.L.F Limited Edition Snow White The Fairest of Them All Eye Collection Swatches & Review

Hey everyone, today I have a fun post on one of the new Limited Edition Snow White sets from E.L.F. The recently released these sets at Walgreens, and I was so happy when I finally found them. But since I am such a sucker for eyes, I only picked up this eye collection. The packaging really caught my eye, as well as all the beautiful eyeshadows.

The set comes with a eyeshadow palette containing 6 colors as well as a mascara for $4.99. Today I am only going to be talking about the palette its self because this was the thing I was the most excited about.

The palette comes with 6 beautiful shades including a light cream shade, a beautiful mint green color, a coppery brown, a dark brownie brown, a turquoise shade as well as a black.  It also comes with a duo end eyeshadow brush.

I was very impressed with how pigmented the shadows were. Also they have such a buttery texture so they are super blend-able and like I said the pigmentation is on point. With E.L.F shadows, they sometimes lack pigmentation and can usually be very chalky, but with these eyeshadows I didn't notice any chalkiness. The only shade that I had to apply a lot of was the black, but overall it was still pigmented for a drug store shadow.

Most of the shades a very shimmery so if you like shimmer you will love this palette. You can create such beautiful looks simply using the brown shades, or if you wanted a pop of color you have that mint green.

Overall I would give this palette a A rating. It has the beautiful Snow White on the front, plus with the amazing quality of the shadows, I would highly recommend this palette!

NEW Milani Bella Eyes Shadow in Bella Taupe & Bella Champagne

Hey loves, today I have an exciting post on the new Milani Bella Eyes, which are eyeshadows. I was so excited when I had came a crossed a post regarding these amazing little shadows. Of course no where near me sells Milani, so I went a head and ordered these two off of the Milani website. And trust me, it was hard just picking two because I wanted them all, but I really just wanted to test a couple first to see if I liked them before I went out and purchased more. And I must say, I am in love.

So the two colors I got were Bella Taupe and Bella Champagne. Bella Taupe is a nice pretty brown taupe shade and it has a satin matte finish, which I love. The color was extremely pigmented and the texture was so smooth. It is considered a gel powder which makes it so smooth. Then Bella Champagne is shimmering champagne color which of course is a shimmer finish. This color reminded me a lot of All That Glitters, but I love this color a little bit more because the texture feels better on the lids.

Now a lot of people said that they had problems while using a brush to apply, but when swatching them I used a brush and also my finger and the pigmentation was just as great. Also I love the packaging because they are the same packaging as the blushes, but just smaller.

These shadows are only $3.99 so they are super affordable, and you best believe I will be purchasing more! Also don't mind my little picture craziness. I took a ton of photos!

Maybelline The Nudes Palette Review & Swatches

Hey everyone today I have a review post on the new Maybelline The Nudes Palette! I was literally so excited when information started coming out regarding this palette and I knew I had to have it in my life. This is the first drug store palette I have witnessed. Other then like NYX and Sonia Kashuk, this is the first ever drug store palette. I am also excited because there will be two additional palettes coming out soon which are The Brights and The Smokes, which of course I will be purchasing each.

Maybelline The Nudes Palette goes for $9.99 and can be found at most drugstores or stores that carry Maybelline. It comes with 12 different shades to create all different looks. I love how the palette is set up because they paired colors in order to make different looks. You can divide the colors into quads, trios and duos, or of course mix and match and make your own unique look.

When swatching, I decided I would swatch by quads because thats how I have been wearing this palette.

Here are swatches of the first quad, which this one is the one I have been wearing the most. It comes with a light highlight shade (which the texture of this shadow was very dull. You really have to work your brush in it to receive a decent color payoff) The next shade is a beautiful light taupe color, then we have a brown and another darker taupe shade.

Here is the middle quad which to me, has the best color pay off. We have a light peachy pink color which is a nice matte shade, then we have a golden brown which this color was so pigmented that I didn't need to put any effort in when swatching it. Next we have a beautiful gold which was extremely pigmented as well, and same with the brown.

And here is the last 4 shades. We have a beautiful taupe/purple shade which is matte. Then we darker brown, and champaign color, and then a black which the pigmentation was horrible.

Overall I love this palette. You cannot beat a great palette for the price. It had a mixture of mattes and shimmers and the looks you can make of this palette is endless. Some colors we not that good with color payoff, but I still love this palette. I have been using it everyday for the last two weeks!

NYX The Suede Shadow Palette Swatches & Review

Hey everyone, I am very excited to be doing a post on the new NYX The Suede Shadow Palette. I came a crossed this bad boy when I went to Ulta a few days ago and was super excited to pick it up. I am such a sucker for any type of palettes so I was excited when this was released. It is also a limited edition palette.

This palette comes with 8 different eyeshadows. They are all considered pearl eyeshadows. To me I think the colors in this palette would be perfect for the fall time since there are a lot of darker shades and with the greens and maroon and golden colors, it just screams fall to me.

Starting from the top row we have a Nude Pearl, Beige Pearl, Gold Pearl, Light Bronze Pearl, Olive Pearl with gold shimmer, Bronze Pearl with gold shimmer, Forrest Green Pearl and lastly Copper Pearl with shimmer.

I love all of the colors that are in this palette. A few were hard to swatch because there wasn't much pigmentation in a few of these colors. But the gold, forrest green, and the bronze shade were all very pigmented. I had a few problems with the copper color because it was very streaky which was a bummer because I was super excited about that shade.

I am also a huge fan of the packaging. I heard a few people say they didn't like it, but I liked it a lot. It is simple, sleek and will be very easy for traveling. I also love how big the shadows are in the palette so it is super easy to get at the product.

Pros:
  • The packaging is sleek and easy for travel
  • The shadows are big so its easy to get to
  • The colors are beautiful and has decent pigmentation
  • Super affordable
Cons:
  • The palette is limited edition
  • Some fall out with the shadows
Overall I would give this palette a B- rating. It is pretty decent for a drug store palette. You can purchase the palette here for $12.00

BA Star Tropical Eyeshadow Palette Swatches

Hey everyone, today I wanted to share with you this amazing palette I received from BA Star. I have never tried anything from this brand before, but I was super excited to review a palette with such bright vibrant colors. This is the Tropical Eyeshadow Palette. BA Star make makeup geared towards dancers and cheerleaders, which means amazing pigmentation.

This palette comes with 5 different shades a lime green, a turquoise blue, medium purple, hot pink and a beautiful silver with sparkle. The number one thing I noticed when I swatched these eyeshadows, was how pigmented they were. I only needed to swipe once to get amazing color pay off. Also the shadows were very long lasting and were not chalky at all. The only shade that wasn't as pigmented as the others, was the silver shade. It did lack a little pigmentation which I think had a lot to do with the shimmer and glitter that was inside it, but other then that, all the shadows performed nicely.

I normally don't go for bright colors, but with this palette it has everything I could ever want when it comes to fun shades. I cannot wait to try out some fun looks using this palette!

You can purchase this palette here for $8.75.

NEW L'Oreal Glossy Balm in My Babydoll

Hey everyone, I am very excited to be doing another post on the NEW L'Oreal Glossy Balms. I made a post on one about two weeks ago and I was finally able to find the rest of the collection. I ended up picking up another one after loving Petite Plum so much, so of course I went for a more pink shade. And this is in the shade My Babydoll

My Babydoll is a beautiful baby pink just like the name, minus the doll. It is almost like a bubble gum pink with a blue undertone. Just like the other shade I own, it of course is a glossy finish so instead of it being more of a lipstick it wears as a glossy which is really impressive since I do not know any other balms that have a really good glossy finish. It is very light weight so it doesn't cake on at all and just looks beautiful. Now the pigmentation is amazing. So most glosses don't have too much pigmentation, but this shade does and it is amazing. This is one of my favorites and I know I will be wearing this a lot this summer.

Let me know if you were able to get your hands on one an what your favorite shade is!

Hey loves, with Summer here I wanted to share some of my favorite Summer products in my next few posts. And for starters I wanted to share my favorite Revlon lip butters. I have always been a huge fan of Revlon lip butters, and I tend to where them a lot in the summer because they are very hydrating and light on the lips. Plus they come in all different colors that make it fun to wear in the summer. So out of my whole lip butter collection I picked 4 and I wanted to share the swatches with you.
