Hi everyone and welcome back to my blog. I am so so sorry that I have not posted a review in what seems like forever. I have been very active on YouTube though, and I do plan on remaining very active on my blog for 2016 as well. I have a ton of new products to share with you from the drug store, since a lot of brands released their new 2016 products. So for today's post I will be talking about some of the new L'Oreal Colour Riche Monos Eyeshadows.
I was so excited when I found out L'Oreal was releasing new single eyeshadows. They released 15 shades and they are all mainly neutral tones. Also, they released different finishes as well. So for this post I will be sharing a matte shade as well as a shimmery shade. According to L'Oreal these are a gel to powder consistency and they are supposed to have a velvety texture.
The shades I got were:
- Cafe Au Lait which is a cool matte toned light brown
- Pain Au Chocolat which is a beautiful shimmery taupe
I noticed right away when I was swatching these colors that the formula is incredible. It does have like a gel consistency when you touch it but it turns into a powder when you swatch it. I also found the texture to be very buttery and unlike any shadows I have tried before. The shades that I chose were also very pigmented and easy to blend. I think L'Oreal really hit their mark when it came to these shadows because the quality is amazing and they are also very affordable.
Also the price point on these are incredible. Each shade retails for $5.99 at both Ulta and Walgreens. And the best part is that a lot of the times both places have buy one get one 50% L'Oreal products. So if you can grab them on sale you can get them for even cheaper. This is seriously the first time I have LOVED a drug store single eyeshadow and I highly recommend you checking them out!
