L'Oreal Infallible Pro Matte Liquid Lipstick Swatches & Review

PR Sample|Affiliated Links

Oh my goodness, I am so excited to share with you guys some swatches of the new L'Oreal Infallible Pro Matte Liquid Lipsticks! L'Oreal recently came out with a ton of shades and I finally got around to testing them out for you guys. These were sent to me for review purposes, but all opinions are of course, 100% my own.

These lipsticks are supposed to last up to 16 hours and are supposed to feel comfortable on the lips. There is 12 shades to this line and a lot of the colors are very unique. And these also have a very cool wand that has a pointer on it to help shape your lips when applying the product.

The shades in this line are:
  • Roseblood which is a deep brownish red
  • Stirred which is a brick red
  • Matador which is a cool toned red
  • Shake Down which is a rusty nude color
  • Cowboy which is a warm nude
  • Milk and Cookies which is a pretty taupe brown
  • Nudist which is a pretty peachy nude
  • Angora which is also a taupe shade but its just a little bit lighter then Milk and Cookies
  • Kitten Paw which is a pale pastel purple
  • Plum Bum which is a stunning plum purple (this is by far my favorite shade)
  • Petal Potion which is a beautiful cool toned pink
  • Deeply Disturbed which is a dark purple
The shades are EXTREMELY pigmented except for Deeply Disturbed. That shade wasn't as opaque as the rest of them. They also do not dry down like typical matte lipsticks. They are very comfortable on the lips and a few of the darker shades do leave a little bit of stain behind on the lips. They also do wear for a long time, but I still had to touch up a little bit throughout the day.

Some of my favorite shades from this line are Plum Bum and Petal Potion. I mean of course, sine they are the most wearable on me.

If you do not like super drying liquid lipsticks, I think you would really enjoy these. They do retail for around $10 depending on where you get them from. They are currently on sale at for buy one get one 50% off.

Baking With Mommy: Soft Oatmeal Butterscotch Cookies

Hi loves, I wanted to start a new series on my blog called Baking With Mommy! Whenever I am cooking I always have my little one near me. Even though she has no idea what I am doing, I am hoping when she is older she would love to bake with me. With the holidays coming up, I thought it would be a wonderful idea to start doing some baking recipes. So I thought I would start with one of my favorite cookies!

Now before I begin, just note, I am not the best baker in the world. I do not have a fancy mixer (I used to but sadly I didn't use it much). So a lot of things is all done by hand. But a mixer would be more handy then just stirring by hand, trust me!

So today I am sharing with you one of my favorite cookies! They are Soft Oatmeal Butterscotch cookies. They are seriously one of my favorite cookies. And since butterscotch is orange, I thought these cookies look pretty festive for the fall time.

Items you will need:
  • 1 cup butter softened (I just used two sticks of Blue Bonnet margarine)
  • 1 cup brown sugar (can use light or dark brown sugar, I used light)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs (I use large eggs)
  • 2 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon (I love cinnamon so I use a lot, if you are not a fan of cinnamon you can always cut it in half)
  • 2 cups of flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 cups of quick oats
  • 1 bag of butterscotch chips (I loveeee butterscotch so I use a lot. If you don't like a lot of butterscotch in your cookies, just use less. I also highly recommend getting the Hersey's butterscotch chips. They taste so good!)

Baking Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
  • Mix butter, eggs, brown sugar, regular sugar and vanilla extract all together
  • In a separate bowl combine your flour, cinnamon, baking sofa and salt all together
  • Take the dry ingredients and add them to the wet ingredients
  • Once it is all mixed together add your oats and then fold in your butterscotch chips
  • Bake for about 10-12 minutes
Let me know if you are going to try these! And I hope you all enjoy this new little series I will be doing! If you have any feedback I would love to hear it!

Day In The Life| Mommy Blog #4 Family Photos & Changing My Mindset on Instagram

It has been such a long time since I have done a mommy blog post. Things have been pretty hectic lately and I thought it was time for a little update. I have been thinking about a lot lately when it comes to my blog and my Instagram account. And I just wanted to share my thoughts with you.

Since having my daughter I have found a new passion for new things other then just beauty related products. I have falling in love with taken photos again. I mean, before having my daughter I loved taking photos of beauty products, but now I love taking photos of my daughter and our daily lives. I have been more into home decor, cleaning products, fashion the list goes on. I realized I want to share more then just beauty products with my followers.

I know a lot of people follow me simply because I am a beauty blogger, but I don't think I want to just be a beauty blogger. I want to be a life style blogger where I focus on a bunch of different things other then beauty. I noticed once I started posting photos of my daughter on Instagram, my follower count has started to decrease. It ended up bothering me and I thought to my self maybe I should just post only beauty. After talking with my boyfriend about it and feeling upset, I came to a realization. This is MY blog and MY Instagram account, no one else's. If I want to upload photos of my daughter I am going to. If I want to post photos of my home, I am going to! The numbers mean nothing to me anymore. And I feel so ashamed of letting my follower count get to me.

I am going to post what I love and what makes me happy. I am obviously going to post beauty products still, but I am going to start adding photos of other things. I feel like so many people are just so set on a number, but that number honestly doesn't matter. What matters is the followers that stick with you through your changes, because everyone changes. Everyone goes through different things in life. I have had this blog since 2012 and my Instagram account since June of 2013, so it has been a long time. And now I am a mom and a homeowner. And I feel like I have so so much to offer and share with the world.

I just feel like I had to get that off my chest. I am in a completely different mindset when it comes to Instagram and just blogging in general, and I honestly feel great.

With that being said, yesterday my boyfriend and I went out and took some photos and I wanted to share them with you all. I love going out and taking photos and yesterday was the perfect fall day here in Northern Michigan. I hope you guys enjoy and I hope you enjoyed my little rant. <3

Current Beauty Favorites and Giveaway|October 2017

Hi loves, I feel like I haven't posted about my current beauty favorites in forever, in fact I don't know if I ever have on my blog. I used to do monthly favorites on YouTube all the time, but since having Mila I haven't filmed a video in forever. So I thought why not bring it to my blog. I gathered all of my current favorites and a lot of my favorites are products that I use on a daily basis. I am also including a little giveaway in this post as well!

My current favorites:
  • Kevyn Aucoin The Contour Book The Art of Sculpting + Defining Volume II: This palette is my go to palette. I bring it with me when I travel so I do not have to bring highlighter, contour or eyeshadows. It's the perfect all in one palette. The sculpting powder is literally one of my favorites for contouring. It is a nice cool toned shade which works perfectly for my skin tone. I also love the eyeshadows. When I want a basic eye look I use Cool Tan in my crease and then Ruddy Earth in the outer corner just to deepen the look. Then I will take Starlight all over my lid. It is seriously perfect! This palette retails for $65.00 and can be found at
  • NARS Blush in Madly: This has been a blush that was on my wish list forever! And I finally purchased it in April and I ended up having my daughter May 6th, so I didn't actually end up using the blush until about June when I was finally ready to start doing my makeup again. It has been my go to blush ever since. It is seriously stunning and the perfect nude blush! This blush retails for $30.00 and can be found at
  • Urban Decay Trouble Maker Mascara: Oh my goodness, this baby right here is my new favorite mascara! It has tiny tiny fibers that help make your lashes look fuller. And the wand is seriously amazing. It helps separate my lashes. I am actually going to be giving away this mascara to one of you lucky ladies! I seriously cannot wait for one of you to try this. This mascara retails for $24.00 and can be found at
  • FRESH Sugar Lip Treatment in Sugar Honey: This lip treatment is perfect for dry lips. It has been getting pretty cold now here in Northern Michigan so my lips are already starting to get chapped. And this does such a great job at moisturizing my lips. And it has a pretty nude tint to it. This lip treatment retails for $24.00 and can be found at
  • Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation: It has been so long since I have found a foundation that I like as much as my NARS Sheer Glow, but I finally found one! This Lancome foundation is a medium to full coverage and has a beautiful velvety matte finish. It looks so so natural and beautiful on my skin. It is the complete opposite finish compared to the NARS Sheer Glow, but I honestly love it. This foundation retails for $47.00 and can be found at
  • Becca Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector: I had heard amazing things about this primer and I finally had picked it up. I ordered just a mini size because I wasn't sure if I would end up liking it but I ended up falling in love with it. I only use it in my t-zone and I feel like it sort of sucks in my pores and fills them which makes my pores look amazing once I add my foundation. The mini size retails for $15.00 and the full size retails for $36.00. This primer can be found at
  • L'Oreal Brow Stylist Shade and Fill Pencil: I recently started using this brow pencil about two weeks ago and I really like it! It is very comparable to the Anastasia Brow Definer but this one is much cheaper. The product is much thicker compared to the normal brow pencil, but it makes filling in my brows much easier! This brow pencil retails for $10.99 and can be found at
Now onto the giveaway. I am giving away one Urban Decay Trouble Maker Mascara! I am literally so excited for one of you to try it, so I of course wanted to give one away. The giveaway will last a week and end on October 15th at midnight. If you are under 18 please make sure you have your parents permission to enter.

L'Oreal Infallible Paint Metallic Lips Swatches & Review

PR Sample|Affiliated Links

Hi guys, today I have a little review for you on some awesome metallic lippies by L'Oreal. Metallic lips are extremely popular and I am pretty sure almost every brand out there now currently has metallic products. I am not really into the trend, though I do find that it looks super pretty, but just not on me. L'Oreal released the Infallible Paint Metallics a few months ago and they were so kind to gift them to me. So of course I wanted to share my thoughts and opinions. Even though I do not like them on me, I think the product its self is wonderful.

L'Oreal sent me 4 out of 6 shades. The shades I will be sharing with you today are Smoldering Eclipse which is a dark purple berry shade, Liquid Venom which is a stunning brick orange shade, Galatic Foil which is a rosy pink and lastly Moon Lust which is a nude baby pink.

They have amazing color pay off but they do have a little bit of texture to them. Even with the texture, I do not find them to be uncomfortable on the lips. They do feel like a gloss so they do not dry down at all. They are very metallic and I think would look amazing on top of many different matte lipsticks. Out of all the shades, I think Moon Lust is my favorite because it is more of a everyday shade.

But if you are on the metallic band wagon, I think you would really like these, and plus they are super affordable as well. They retail for $9.99 and can be bought at

Let me know what you think of the metallic trend and if you have found one that you love!

Everyone stop what your doing and go pick up these L'Oreal Metallic Eyeshadows! I am seriously in love with these! If you saw my last post, it was on the new matte infallible eyeshadows, and those are seriously amazing as well. But if you want some mega metallic eyes, then you need these!

These eyeshadows have crazy pigmentation and have a foiled finish. I honestly do not have much to say on these other then that they are amazing. There is 5 different shades to choose from and honestly, I think you need them all!

From the swatches below, going from left to right we have: Violet Luster, Aluminum Foil, Caged, Brass Knuckles and Rose Chrome. The texture of the shadows is amazing and I didn't notice a lot of fall out either. The swatches below have no primer underneath and you can see how pigmented they are. I think even with a little MAC fix plus they could look even more metallic.

NEW L'Oreal Colour Riche Matte Mono Eyeshadows Swatches & Review

PR Sample|Affiliated Links

If you have been following my blog for a while, you would know I love the L'Oreal Colour Riche eyeshadows. I love the quads and the monos as well. Well, L'Oreal recently came out with 5 new matte mono eyeshadows and oh my goodness, they are amazing. I think these are some of the best eyeshadows found at the drugstore. And all of these colors come together for such a beautiful warm look. They are also perfect for the fall time. I went a little picture happy, so I hope you don't mind all of the photos!

Here are the shades: (going from left to right in the swatches below)
  • Matte Chill which is a yellow tone cream shade
  • Mix And Matte which is a beautiful beige
  • Matte It Up is a warm light brown (this shade is one of my favorites. It is a great transition shade)
  • Acro-Matte is a stunning burnt orange (I feel like this one will be everyones favorite. Literally the perfect shade for fall)
  • Matte-Ison Avenue which is a beautiful plum/deep brown shade

The texture of these eyeshadows are so different compared to anything in the store store. They have a gel like texture that turns into powder. The pigmentation is seriously amazing. And they are also very soft and not chalky. Since they do have a gel texture, there is no fall out which is a huge plus.

If you are looking for some new affordable eyeshadows you should totally check these out. And if you are not into matte shadows, the rest of the line is also incredible.

Each of these eyeshadows are $5.99 each and you can usually get them on BOGO at to get them cheaper. Also, Ulta currently has a deal where when you spend $20 on L'Oreal products, you will receive a FREE makeup bag.

Pixi Beauty ItsEyeTime Eyeshadow Palette Swatches & Review

PR Sample|Affiliated Links

I am so incredibly excited to be sharing this Pixi Beauty palette with you all. This is the Get The Look ItsEyeTime eyeshadow palette that was created with ItsJudyTime. When I first saw this palette, I knew it was going to be right up my alley. The colors just scream my name. I was hoping and praying that the shadows would perform well and I was super impressed once I started swatching and using this palette.

This palette comes with 12 different shades and are a mix of matte and shimmer. Honestly, this is one of the best palettes I have tested recently. The colors are stunning and they are extremely pigmented. I did have an issue with one of the shades, but I will get to that soon! The mattes are nice and buttery, but the shimmers is where its at. They are so intensely pigmented. I was seriously shocked when I started swatching these and applying them.

Onto the colors in the palette: Snowflake which is a beautiful shimmery champagne color, Bubbly which is a beautiful shimmery gold, Its Mommys Life which is a great warm transition color, this one has a matte finish, Good Morning is a stunning warm brown matte, Brick which is a matte brick red color (seems to be a must have in most palettes now days), Honey Bear which is also a matte and its a yellowish brown, Tu Tu is a matte shade as well and is warm taupe plum shade, Getaway is a very pretty shimmery golden cranberry shade, Ping is a shimmery dark brown, Dark Chocolate is a matte dark brown, Aww Snap is a matte brown with a red undertone and lastly is Night Night which was my least favorite in the palette. It's a black with a hint of sparkles and it just did not perform on the same level as the other shades. So 11/12 shades were amazing and I honestly think its totally worth it.

This is a great everyday palette and has some beautiful warm tones. It is a little bit on the pricey side for being more of a drugstore brand. It does retail for $24.00 and can be found at Target or online.

Let me know in the comments below what you think of this palette and if its on your wish list!

Kevyn Aucoin The Neo Bronzer in Siena Swatches & Review

PR Sample|Affiliated Links

I love products that contain one then one product in a compact. And these Kevyn Aucoin The Neo Bronzers are seriously amazing. This one is in the shade Siena and it comes with a highlighter, a blush and a bronzer. These palettes come in two different shades and I do have both. So I will be doing swatches and a review on the other palette very shortly.

Siena is a beautiful warm palette. The highlight in this palette is a very light peachy shade. The blush is a true coral shade and the bronze is a light warm bronze shade. I love that the colors flow through a gradient. It is seriously so pretty. In the swatches below, I swatched all three shades mixed and it made a pretty natural looking blush.

The powders are seriously so smooth and blend out like a dream. The bronzer isn't super pigmented, so you do not have to worry about using a light hand. I just love how natural all of the shades are.

Each one of these palettes retail for $58.00 and can be purchased at
