Day In The Life| Mommy Blog #2

Hey everyone! Welcome to my mommy blog #2. I have been extremely productive lately! I finally got my inventory in last Thursday for DotDotSmile, so I spent Thursday taking photos of all the pretty dresses, then Friday I had my launch! I have tons of dresses available from 6/12month all the way up to 12/14 in girls. If you would like to purchase a dress I am going to be giving my followers 10% off their first purchase as well as free shipping! So if you would like to check out my inventory come follow my Facebook group here!

Then on Saturday we went to our state fair! We had a lot of fun but it was extremely hot. Mila surprisingly did wonderful. I was worried that she would be really fussy but she wasn't. Then Sunday I made homemade wet burritos and we just had a chill day.

Today I did a little photo shoot with Mila, which I included a couple of photos below from the shoot! In her pictures she is wearing a DotDotSmile dress that I kept for her and her headband is from H&M. It came in a set of three and I seriously love them because of the thicker band.

Then later this evening I hit up Walgreens to get in on some couponing deals, since I am trying to work on building a bigger stock pile before winter comes. If you would like me to do a weekly post on which deals I come a crossed, let me know!

I will be pretty busy the rest of the week with getting things ready for something else I am excited to start. Once it all becomes official, I will for sure fill you guys in! But thats basically all I have to update you guys on today. I wish I had more photos to share of the little one, but it was so hard to capture the two that I did since she couldn't stop grabbing at her feet! She is growing up too fast!!

MAC Dazzleglass Swatches & Review

PR Sample|Affiliated Links

Hi loves, welcome back to my blog! I know it's been a while since I have done a new beauty post, so I of course needed to get back on that! So today I have some of the new MAC Dazzleglasses to share with you. MAC sent me over 5 shades and oh my goodness, they are stunning! MAC recently brought back the dazzleglasses and it was my first time trying them. I have been getting off the liquid lipstick bandwagon lately and have been wearing a lot more gloss, including these.

The Dazzleglass formula is very thick so a little product goes along way. They have beautiful specks of pearl and look stunning on top of lipsticks. The 5 shades I have to share with you are: Extra Amps (sheer bright blue pink with blue and pink pearl), Sugarrimmed (milky pale pink with multipearl), Love Alert (raspberry red with red pearl), Like Venus (bubble gum pink with red pearl) and Money Honey (mid-tone rosy mauve with red pearl).

My favorites out of the 5 are Sugarrimmed (obviously since it is a nude) and Like Venus. As you can tell from the swatches, they are not opaque glosses. I find they look best over a lipstick rather then by themselves. If I want to be extra I will wear these since it does give your lips a little bit of a pop verses a standard lip color.

If you are looking for some fun glosses, I would highly recommend checking them out. They can be purchased at or for $17.00 each.

Day In The Life| Mommy Blog #1

I am so excited to share a new series to my blog! I decided I would love to do mommy posts a few times a week that includes photos of my little one as well as what we did today! Pretty much like a vlog but without video! I thought it would be so much fun to see how many little one changes throughout the days, weeks, months and years! And what better way then to document it each step of the way.

So today is obviously August 14th and Mila is currently 13 weeks old.

We had a pretty boring day today. After Mila's first morning nap she was ready for some play time on her mat which she loves. It has little toys hanging from it and she has been starting to reach for them and play with them. I also caught her grabbing her feet! She seriously needs to stop growing! She is growing up way too fast.

We also notice that she has a little obsession with Spongebob. She will cry and cry and cry, but as soon as we turn Spongebob on, she stops! I am not sure why out of all shows she is so drawn to it, but oh well, at least we don't mind Spongebob.

In the even we went to Dollar General, which is one of my favorite places to coupon. I ended up getting a couple of deals which I forgot to take photos of, but if you would be interested in reading up on some of the couponing deals I come a crossed, let me know and I would love to do some posts on it.

That was basically our day, other then the boring stuff like laundry, cooking dinner and bath time! But like I said, I just want to be able to look back on how things change through her growing up and this will for sure help!

Let me know if there is anything from our day you would like me to include in these type of posts, like maybe cleaning photos (before & after), our dinner etc. I really hope you guys enjoy these posts as well. I will be sure to have a mix of beauty reviews up as well.

I Joined DotDotSmile! Becoming a Distributor & Being My Own Boss

Hi everyone! Today I have a little bit of a different post for you. I have been kind of MIA lately but it has all been for a good reason! I recently signed up to become a Distributor for DotDotSmile. If you haven't heard of DotDotSmile before, don't worry I will share tons of information. DotDotSmile has adorable infant and toddler clothes that you sell. I was very interested in this since I have a daughter and thought it would be so much fun to have our own little clothing boutique.

With DotDotSmile I will be selling in on Facebook, vendor shows and in house parties. I am so excited because all of my inventory will be arriving this Thursday and I will be posting all the cute dresses Friday!

I made a little space in my beauty room where I will be storing all of my pieces as well as doing all my work like invoicing, filing paper work and shipping supplies.

I have been a stay at home mom and now that Mila is three months old, I am really not ready to put her into day care. So I wanted to find something I could do at home so I could still have plenty of time with her. And this will also help with more bills and everything as well.

I am very excited to share this journey with all of you. If you are a mother of a little girl and would love to see my inventory when it arrives, please feel free to join my group:

I also have a giveaway going on where if you add 5 of your friends to the group, you could have a chance to win $10 smile cash towards your purchase. I will be having sizes from 6months all the way up to size 12/14.

If you have any questions regarding becoming a distributor please feel free to add me on Facebook and I would love to go over all of the information with you!

Urban Decay Naked Heat Collection Swatches & Reviews

PR Sample/Affiliated Links

I am so excited for todays post! When I found out that Urban Decay was coming out with a new collection including a new eyeshadow palette, I knew I had to have it. Surprisingly I received the whole entire Naked Heat Collection from Urban Decay to review for you guys. This collection comes with an eyeshadow palette, two eyeliners and three lipsticks. I have been testing out the collection for a while now, so I am excited to finally get this review up for you as well as swatches!

So the two eyeliners included in this collection are in the shades Torch and Alkaline. Torch is a beautiful brick red shade. And Alkaline is a deep wine color. I am in love with the formula of the Urban Decay 24 hour eyeliners. They truly last all day. These shades are going to be perfect for fall. I highly recommend checking out these shades.

They retail for $20.00 and can be found at

Onto the lipsticks, there is three shades in this collection. Heat is a metalized burnt red with a gold pearl. Fuel which is a beautiful cream peachy nude. And lastly is Scorched which is a metallic copper. I am not a fan of metallic lipsticks, but they were very pigmented. My favorite of course is Fuel. I love peachy nudes and loved the formula of the cream finish.

These lipsticks retail for $17.00 and can be found at

And lastly, here is the eyeshadow palette! This is the Naked Heat palette which, if you are a fan of the other Naked Palettes, I think you will love this one. This palette is filled with tons of beautiful warm toned eyeshadows with a mix of shimmer and matte shades.
  • Ounce which is a ivory shade with a shimmer finish
  • Chaser which is a nude shade with a matte finish
  • Sauced which is a terra cotta shade with a matte finish
  • Low Blow which is a light brown with a matte finish
  • Lumbre which is a copper shade with a shimmer finish
  • He Devil which is a burnt red with a matte finish
  • Dirty Talk which is a burnt red with a metallic finish
  • Scorched which is a deep red with a metallic finish and gold micro shimmer
  • Cayenne which is a deep terra cotta with a matte finish
  • En Fuego which is a burgundy with a matte finish
  • Ashes which is a deep reddish brown with a matte finish
  • Ember which is a copper burgundy shade with a metallic finish
I am a huge fan of all the shimmers in this palette. A few of the dark matte shades applied a little patchy so you really have to work it with your brush to blend out the color. But the lighter mattes performed really well.

This palette retails for $54.00 and can be found at

NEW L'Oreal Infallible Matte Paints Swatches & Review

PR Sample|Affiliated Links

I think I found my new favorite lippies! L'Oreal has came out with new Infallible Paints in a matte finish! I was extremely excited to see the new shades. There is 6 shades to choose from and they are all very neutral and super easy to wear for a everyday look. They also came out with some metallic shades which I will be doing a review on within the next day or two.

With these lip paints, they come with a wand so they are super easy to apply. They have such a smooth feel to them on the lips. They are matte but they do not dry down on the lips. I am also impressed with how pigmented these are. In the swatches below, I literally just swiped once on my arm and you can see how opaque the colors are. They also show up opaque on the lips as well. Out of all the matte lippies I have tried recently, these are for sure on my favorites list.

The shades listed below are:
  • Skinny Dip which is a warm light nude
  • Tongue Tied which is more of a caramel nude
  • Peach Pit which is a beautiful peachy pink nude
  • Festival which is a brownish nude
  • Velvet Pout which is a taupe mauve shade
  • China-bomb which is a dark brick red shade
Like can we talk about how stunning these shades are? Most of them are very warm so its right on trend with all those warm eye shadow palettes that everyone has been obsessing over lately. Now you can have a warm lip to match your warm eye look! I just can't get over how amazing the formula is on these. I highly recommend picking a few up!

They do retail for $9.99 and can currently be bought at

MAKE UP FOR EVER Aqua XL Color Paint Shadow's Swatches & Giveaway!

PR Sample|Affiliated Links

I am literally so excited to share these new MAKE UP FOR EVER Aqua XL Color Paint Shadow's. I am a huge fan of cream eyeshadows, so I was super excited to see that MUFE came out with tons of amazing shades. They have 20 shades and they have three different finishes: matte, satin and shimmer. MUFE sent me all of the shades but instead of swatching them all, I thought I would leave a few to give out to you guys. So at the bottom of this post I will have all the giveaway information.

The shades I ended up keeping and swatching for you are the following:
  • M-40 (matte yellow)
  • M-20 (matte ultramarine blue)
  • M-16 (matte white)
  • M-52 (matte beige)
  • M-56 (matte taupe)
  • M-10 (matte black)
  • L-22 (lustrous dark blue)
  • L-30 (lustrous khaki)
  • I-80 (iridescent pink beige)
  • I-42 (iridescent copper gold)
  • I-50 (iridescent warm beige)
As you can tell I kept a lot of matte shades for myself since I am a huge fan of mattes. I am in love with how pigmented these cream eyeshadows are. After swatching, I ended up liking the look of the lustrous shades and the iridescent shades the best. I think those colors would be perfect for all over the lid.

When you apply these, you can really build them up if you wanted. You can apply a thin layer, let it dry and then add another layer to make the shade look super opaque on the lid. A little bit of product goes a long way with these.

With these cream shadows they are very long lasting. According to MUFE they last up to 24 hours. I haven't tested them out that long because I have never worn makeup before for over 24 hours lol but I did wear them for 8 hours and they didn't smudge or anything on my lids. They were still as pigmented as when I first put them on. They are also super easy to blend out and they do not crease. If you are looking for a smudge proof eyeshadow, this is the product for you!

Each one retails for $25.00 and can be found at

New Pur Cosmetics Soiree Diaries Eyeshadow Palette Swatches & Review

PR Sample|Affiliated Links

I think I have officially found the palette of my dreams! Pur Cosmetics came out with an amazing new collection that includes an eyeshadow palette and a contour palette. This is part of the Dear Diaries collection. In today's post I will be focusing on the eyeshadow palette and I will have a review on the contour palette up sometime this week. I was super excited when I received this package from Pur Cosmetics because I had seen previews on their Instagram of this palette and I seriously fell in love. It has such amazing shades and you can literally create so many looks with this palette.

This palette contains 4 matte shades, 4 satin shades and 4 shimmery shades. All of the shades are very warm toned. Most new palettes that have been releasing have been focusing on the warm tone eyeshadows. But this one is very different compared to a lot of the other palettes. The quailty of these shadows is seriously unbelievable. They are buttery smooth and the pigmentation is intense. Usually matte shades are pretty dry but I was very impressed with how soft these shadows were. The shimmery shades are seriously one of the best formulas I have ever tried when it comes to shimmer. They also applied very smooth and I can't get over how pigmented they are.

Here are the shade names from left to right: Private Party (ivory), Socialite (light peachy cream), Gala (light creamy brown), Mogul (light creamy yellow), Splurge (medium warm tone brown), Stunner (brick red/orange), Snazzy (dark purple brown), Epic (dark brown), Glitzy (golden bronze), Twinkle (rose gold), Dazzle (taupe purple) and Cosmo (dark brown).

Not only does this palette have amazing eyeshadows, the packaging is stunning. It is a beautiful marble with gold metallic lettering. Seriously one of the best packaging I have seen in a long time.

I fell in love with every single eyeshadow in this palette. My favorites of the palette are the shimmers but all the shadows in this palette are amazing and great quailty. This palette is also super affordable. It retails for $34.00 and will soon be at I can't wait to keep using this palette. I know it will be my new everyday palette. Let me know in the comments below what you think of this palette!

New Pur Cosmetics On Point Eyeliner Swatches & Review

It has been so long since I have found an eyeliner that I truly love. But as soon as I tried these new On Point Eyeliners by Pur Cosmetics, I fell in love. There is 5 different shades to choose from and they retail for $19.00 each. Which that price is pretty comparable to other higher end eyeliners sold at Ulta.

The packaging of these are really nice. You can see the color of the shade right on the packaging so you can tell which shade you are grabbing for. These eyeliners are self sharpening so you will always have that nice point to apply to your lower lash line or your upper lash line.

Here are the shades:
  • Not Sorry which is a light grey
  • Down To Earth which is a beautiful chocolate brown
  • Heartless which is a black
  • Hotline which is a metallic hunter green
  • Rain which is a very pretty plum
I seriously love all of the shades. I think a lot of them will be perfect for the fall time. They are very long wearing as well. They claim to last up to 10 hours which they did on me. I was very surprised to see that they really were long wearing. A lot of times eyeliners will smear on me and or come off, but I didn't have that issues with these. I really had to scrub to get the eyeliners off of my arm, but when it came to my eyes, I just used a cleansing oil and it came off right away.

I have really been enjoying these and I would love to see Pur release some more shades including bright colors! Let me know if you have tried these yet and what you think about them!

The photos below are in order by the list above.
