My Sephora VIB Sale Wishlist Spring 2017

Affiliated Links

Hi loves, I received my coupon code for the Sephora VIB sale which is coming up very soon! It is for 15% off your whole entire purchase which is seriously amazing. I thought I would share with you some items that I have my eye on for during the sale. When it comes to the VIB sale I like to buy products that I can't find at Ulta, only because Ulta tends to have more sales and promotions throughout the year compared to Sephora. So for the VIB sale I stick strictly to brands you can only find at Sephora. So I thought it would be fun to share with you what I have my eye on!

The sale will begin on April 18th for for Rouge Members and will go until April 24th. And for the VIB members it will start on April 19th and will also go until April 24th.

Here is my wishlist:

  • Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Crush Body Fragrance Mist $32.00- I have been in love with the bum bum cream and the smell is seriously to die for. So I am super excited they came out with a fragrance mist! I think the scent is perfect for Spring and Summer so this is one item at the top of my wish list.
  • Moroccanoil Dry Shampoo Dark Tones $26.00- I am currently out of my Batiste dry shampoo for dark hair, so I really wanted to try something a little different. While browsing the Sephora website I noticed that Moroccanoil has a dry shampoo for dark hair! So I thought it would be a perfect one to try out!
  • Sephora Favorites Sun Safety Kit $32.00- I am a huge fan of the favorites kits by Sephora and this one looks like an amazing deal. It comes with 15 different products that are perfect for Summer. It comes with sunscreen, safe self-tanning products and bronzing must haves. It also comes with a cute little bag all for $32.00 and its a $132.00 value! Such a steal!
  • NARS Madly Blush $30.00- I know Ulta had recently started caring NARS but they do not carry every single product. I love NARS blushes and I have had my eye on Madly for the longest time! I think its time for me to finally purchase it!
  • Laura Mercier J'adora Le Soleil Matte Veil Powder $40.00- I do not own a lot of products by Laura Mercier but looking at the newly releases on Sephora's website, I fell in love with the look of this bronzer! It looks so pretty and I love the packaging!
Let me know in the comments below what is on your current wishlist for the sale! So far this is the top 5 items I want and I am sure once the sale is here, I will find even more items I need/want.

Ways To Make Money From Home Part Two

Hi everyone, I know it has been a while since I posted about ways to make money from home, so I thought I would finally do a part two to that post since I still have a lot of information to share with you all. If you have not read part one you can click here and it will bring you to the original post.  In the original post I touched on two of my favorite websites to earn free gift cards which is Swagbucks and MyPoints. My original post was dated 5/18/2016 and I thought I would update you on how much money I have made since then by using those two websites.

Since 5/18/2016 on www.swagbucks.com I have made $150.00 in gift cards to both PayPal, Amazon and Sephora. I haven't been on it as much since I have been pregnant, but with it getting closer to the baby coming I am going to be busting my booty to get Amazon gift cards to get stocked up on all things baby like diapers, wipes, clothing etc.

Moving onto www.mypoints.com I have made $100.00 in gift cards to Target and Amazon since 5/18/2016. Like I said, I have been slacking but plan on picking up on earning more. So all together since 5/18/2016 I have made $250.00 in just free things. Now if you have more time on your hands you would be able to make even more!

Blogging:

Some other great ways to start making money from home would be to start a blog on something that you are passionate about. My passion is makeup so it was extremely easy for me to come up with a blog and to start doing reviews. When you become a blogger you get the oppertunity to work with Google AdSense which allows you to add ads to your blog. So whenever anyone clicks on the ads or even view your blog you can start making money.

There is also a lot of different websites you can join where you can get free products sent to you to review. And sometimes they will even pay you to do a review. I did a post on some of my favorite websites a while ago so if you are interested in reading that you can check it out here.

I also belong to a few partner websites where you can get paid to link products in your post and when someone buys something you get commission. My favorite websites to use is www.shopstylecollective.com and www.rewardstyle.com. Both are amazing sites to use and a great way to earn a little extra money through your blog.

YouTube:

YouTube is another great place to earn some extra money as well. When you become a YouTube partner you get to monetize your videos. Which means ads will appear before your video, during your video or even on the side of your video. Right now I only have about 3,400 subscribers, so I do not make that much from YouTube but if you get a lot of views and have a lot of subscribers you could earn a lot.

There is also an amazing website called www.FameBit.com which I think I mentioned in my post about earning free products. With FameBit you can get paid to promote different products through your channel, so that is a wonderful website to check out!

So that is more of my tricks and tips on how to make money from home. I don't know if I will have a part three since these are the main tips I use on a daily basis to help earn extra money from home. So I hope you guys found this post helpful and if you have your own little tips, feel free to leave them in the comment section for everyone to read!

Too Faced Love Flush Blush in I Will Always Love You

Hi loves, I must say it is one of my favorite time of the year when Ulta has their 21 Days of Beauty, and of course I have been taking advantage of the sale! I was able to pick up one of the Too Faced Love Flush blushes, and I was able to get it for half off. I ended up getting the shade I Will Always Love You which is a beautiful peachy blush which I thought would be perfect for when the weather gets a little warmer where I am located. I have never tried this formula before and I wish I would have picked up all of the shades because I am so in love.

One thing I love about the blush is the packaging. Too Faced comes out with some of the best packaging when it comes to their products. I love the heart shape and also the detail that is on the actual blush. These blushes are much thinner compared to their Sweetheart Perfect Flush blushes. They do not take up as much space and are perfect for traveling.

I Will Always Love You is just a great everyday summer shade. The formula is is very buttery. They have amazing pigmentation and apply so easily to the cheeks. I also noticed that the blush blends out like a dream. It is basically everything I look for when it comes to a blush.

Sadly the half off sale for this product was only for one day, but I honestly think it is worth the full price! Let me know if you have any of these blushes! I have my eye on Baby Love next! That shade looks stunning!

NEW Ulta Single Eyeshadows Swatches & Review

Anyone else have a love for single eye shadows? I know I do and I always get suckered in. Ulta recently released tons of new single eyeshadows that pop out of its packaging and can be placed into either a Z Palette or an Ulta Palette. They currently have 36 different shades to choose from. When I ordered these, they were having an amazing deal where when you buy four single shadows you got four for free. And on top of it, I got the free 8 pan palette to go with it! As you can tell when it came to picking my shades, I stuck with my neutrals. I picked out a few matte shades as well as a few shimmery shades.

The 8 shades I went with are: Coconut which is a light yellow matte beige, Whatevs which is a light creamy shimmery beige, Petite which is a light pink matte beige, Desire which is a medium matte brown, Pin-Up Girl which is a light pinkish shimmery taupe, Suede which is a deep matte taupe, Italian Espresso which is a deep brown shade that comes with gold and pink micro glitter and Coffee Bean which is a deep matte brown.

Which the matte shades I thought the texture was buttery but they did apply a little chalky. They blended out nicely but with the darker shades you really have to pack on the shades to get a good color pay off. The shimmery shades were not as pigmented either. I had to add a lot of product to get good color pay off.

The single shadows retail for $8.50 each and I think they are good beginner eye shadows, but you can find a lot better shadows for a lot less. MAC shadows are only $6.00 and I find them to be a lot better quailty then the Ulta shades. And the 8 pan palette retails for $12.50. I am not sure if the shades I picked were just duds, but I still may pick up a few more shades to try. I thought the shades we were pretty but wish they had better pigmentation. Let me know in the comments below if you have tried these yet and if so, what did you think of the quailty?

You can purchase these shadows at www.ulta.com. If you are looking to purchase them, I would wait for them to have a sale. When I purchased mine I got four shades for free, plus the palette for free so I had saved a lot of money. I do not think they are worth $8.50 each.

LORAC California Dreaming Eye Shadow Palette Swatches & Review

I am so excited to share with you guys my thoughts and swatches on the new LORAC California Dreaming Eye Shadow Palette. I haven't purchased an eye shadow palette in such a long time, but once I laid eyes on this palette, I knew I needed it in my collection. It comes with 12 beautiful shades with a mixture of mattes and shimmers. LORAC also came out with a blush palette part of this collection and its stunning as well. But of course the eye shadow palette was calling my name. I thought the shades in this palette would be a great go to palette for Spring and Summer.

The packaging of this palette is so cute. The palette its self is white and tons of cute little symbols on it. It has butterflies, cats, shells etc. It basically screams beach to me. Even though not all the items on the palette are from the beach. (LOL)

I found the shades to be extremely buttery. The texture reminds me a lot of their pro palette eye shadows. They did have some fall out since they are so buttery and smooth. However they do blend out really nicely and have really good color pay off. Onto the shade names:
  • Sand Castle is a white highlight shade that is perfect for the brow bone and inner corner.
  • Button is a pretty tan matte shade that is perfect for a transition shade.
  • Overcast is a matte lilac purple shade.
  • Bonfire is a very light pink matte shade.
  • Hot Toddy is a almost like a coral pink/red, this shade is also matte. I did have a little bit of a hard time blending this shade out.
  • Starfish is a stunning medium orange shade.
  • Seaside is one of my favorites in this palette. It is a beautiful shimmery deep green.
  • Cable Knit is a beautiful brown with a little bit of a red undertone.
  • Cozy is the perfect highlight shade. It is a matte cream.
  • Boots is a pretty shimmery gun metal shade.
  • Kitty Cat is seriously the start of the whole entire palette. It is a beautiful shimmery champagne taupe shade. I seriously recommend picking up this palette just for this shade! It is a stunning color.
  • 65 Degree's is a light shimmery pink/cream shade.
I cannot get enough of Kitty Cat. It is seriously one of my new favorite eye shadows. I am also loving all of the shades in this palette. It comes with a good variety to create many looks. With the mattes and shimmers and light to dark shades, it is the perfect overall palette!

You can purchase this palette at www.ulta.com for only $30.00.

PREGNANCY UPDATE: THIRD TRIMESTER & GENDER REVEAL

Hi loves, I know I haven't touched on this on any of my blog posts, or if I did, I didn't go into too much detail, well my boyfriend and I are expecting our little bundle of joy in May. I am currently in the start of my third trimester and I cannot be anymore excited. It has been an emotional roller coaster the last few months due to hormones, but I am so excited that it is getting closer to the due date.

We found out back in January the babies gender and I wanted to finally share that with you all. I originally had my anatomy scan on December 27th at 19 weeks, but had to get another ultra sound down on January 25th because they were not able to get photos of everything they needed due to the baby being in an awkward position. But during both ultra sounds they stated the baby was a girl! I was so excited to find out and just the thought of having a little girl just made me so happy.

This is my boyfriend and I's first baby and preparing for her has been so much fun. We have started painting the nursery and will be working on the flooring and closet within the next few weeks. Once the nursery is completed I will do a blog post with photos as well as a YouTube video of the room! We still have a long way to go yet when it comes to everything we need and we have about 12 weeks until the arrival of our little girl.

With it getting closer and closer to the due date I have been getting more tired and also have been getting really bad heart burn. But other then that things have been going really well. The first trimester was for sure the worst since I had terrible morning sickness and migraines. And with the second trimester things were really good as well. So, so far this pregnancy has been amazing.

I will for sure keep you guys updated when things get closer as well as do a nursery tour and all that fun stuff! And will probably have a few baby hauls on my channel as well!

Let me know if there is anything specific you would like me to do a post on in regards to my pregnancy! I would love to share as much information with you guys as possible!

NEW Pixi Aspyn Ovard Collection Swatches & Review

PR Samples|Affiliated Links

Hi loves, welcome back to my blog! I am so excited to share with you some of the new Pixi collaborations that recently came out. In today's post I will be focusing on the products created by famous YouTuber and Blogger Aspyn Ovard. I was so excited to see some beautiful highlighters and a pretty blush included in this collection (I am a huge blush lover). I have fallen in love with this collection because the colors go with my skin tone perfectly!

In this collection there is two highlighters which is called Glow-y Powder and they come in the shades London Lustre and Santorini Sunset. London Lustre has more of a yellow undertone to it and Santorini Sunset has more of a golden undertone. Both shades are seriously stunning and work really well with my fair skin. I really love the texture of these highlighters as well. They have a nice smooth texture and they are made with mineral powder which helps hydrate the skin.

Next is the blush which is also considered a Glow-y Powder. And the blush is in the shade Rome Rose which is the most prettiest rose pink with a little golden shimmer. It reminds me a lot of NARS Orgasm but just a little darker. This also has the same texture of the highlighters and it blends out so easily.

Each Glow-y Powder retails for $16.00 and can be bought at www.target.com.

Lastly in the collection we have the Eye Accents kit which comes with the Lower Lash Mascara and the Brow Tamer which is a clear brow gel. I am in love with the lower lash mascara because it really does do a good job with making your lower lashes look more long and full, also the mascara is water resistant as well. The brow gel I thought was just a standard brow gel. It kept my brows into place all day.

The Eye Accents kit retails for $16.00 and can also be found at www.pixibeauty.com. You can also purchase the Lower Lash Mascara and Brow Tamer separately at www.target.com.

Rimmel London Kate Sculpting and Highlighting Palettes Swatches & Review

Affiliated Links|PR Sample

Hey loves, it has been way too long since I have done a post, and I do apologize about that! Pregnancy life has been really getting to me lately. Mainly with decluttering the whole house and just getting the baby room ready! Only four more months to go! While I was going through my makeup I found these Rimmel London Kate Sculpting and Highlighting palettes that I completely forgot about. They were sent to me a while ago and I totally forgot I had them. So I finally wanted to get up a review and swatches of these because they are seriously stunning and such a great find in the drug store.

These palettes come in three different shades. Golden Sands which is the lightest palette, Coral Glow which is more for medium skin tones and then Golden Bronze which is the darkest of the three. After playing around with these I found Coral Glow to be my favorite. All of the highlight shades are very similar so there really isn't that big of a different between those. With the bronzers you can clearly see a different. Golden Sands has a light warm tone bronze, Coral Glow has a beautiful cool tone bronzer and Golden Bronze has a very deep bronzer. My favorite bronzer of the three is from the Coral Glow palette. I do have very fair skin, but I do wear a lot of cool tones. I feel like cool tones work best with my skin. For the blushes, Golden Bronze has a cool tone light pink, Coral Glow has a beautiful coral peach blush and then Golden Bronze has a beautiful peachy pink with golden undertones (reminds me so much of Orgasm by NARS).

I noticed they all had the same texture when it came to the highlight and the bronzer, but with the blushes it was slightly different. The blush in the Golden Bronze palette was very chunky and had some fall out. But I did find all the shades to be very pigmented. I also noticed that the bronzer in the Golden Bronze palette did apply patchy, so because of that and the fall out with the blush, that is my least favorite palette. If I had to recommend one of the palettes for you to try it would for sure be the Coral Glow palette. I think this palette will be a hit for the Spring time.

Each palette retails for $6.99 and can be found at www.ulta.com

NEW Physicians Formula Bronze Booster Highlight + Contour Palette Matte Sculpting

Hi loves, I am so excited about today's post! Physicians Formula recently came out with some new products for 2016 and the moment I saw this new bronze and highlight palette, I knew I had to get it. This is the Bronze Booster Highlight + Contour in Matte Sculpting. They have two different palettes, but this matte one was  calling my name. Sadly no where near me has these in stock yet so I did order this one from www.ulta.com and they currently have buy one get one 50% off Physicians Formula! So if this is something that interests you, I would totally order it while the sale is going on!

This palette comes with a warm tone bronzer, a cool toned contour shade and a light banana highlight shade. The main reason I wanted to get this palette was because of the contour shade. Since I have such fair skin, I thought the contour shade would be perfect! And it really is. I thought the texture of all three were very buttery. The shades are very build-able and blend out very easily as well. One thing I didn't like about this palette is that the packaging is very bulky. It does come with a brush underneath just like a lot of Physicians Formula products do. I never use the brushes that come with their products, so to me it's just more of a wasted space.

I also love that this palette is completely matte. I am not big on shimmer on my face so this palette is literally perfect for me. I am not sure how well this will work on more deeper skin tones since the shades are pretty light. But if you have lighter skin or even medium skin tone, I think you would love this palette!

It does retail for $14.99 and like I said, all Physicians Formula products are currently Buy One Get One 50% at www.ulta.com
